After our visit to Cuyahoga Valley National Park, we made it out to our first campground destination: Bear Cave, a quaint and beautiful campground by the Saint Joseph river in Buchanan Michigan. Though a lot of the sites could use some TLC, we managed to find one right next to a creek that provides that water flowing sound we love to hear at the end of a busy day.
Although the place is surrounded by trees and a lot of folliage, our site has a nice view of the sky facing north for the must-have internet connectivity that makes our lifestyle work and worthwhile. From here, Chicago is within striking distance and we plan to drive by on Wednesday on our way to the Badlands National Park in South Dakota. The fun has just begun!
