After visiting family in Huntington Park and visiting a couple of beautiful towns in Northern California, we decided to head back to bask in the beauty of the desert in Quartzsite, Arizona, and what a beautiful place this is!

From here we took a day trip to Havasu City and then a weekend to visit a beautiful spot called “the steps”, an area across from the Colorado River where you can camp at the top of the mountain if you have the right vehile and driving expeerience to climb to the top… not an easy feat considering you a climbing on difficult terrain.

We liked “the steps” so much that we’ve decided to go back as we start finding our way back to New Jersey in mid-february.
